10 Cool Tips and Tricks to Master iMessage

Apple iMessage is a messenger Service Developed by Apple, available in iOS 5 and later version. iMessage App has Some Cool Features if you are not familiar with iPhone or iMessage you might not know about these Cool Features. Here are 10 iMessage Tricks to Master iMessage.

1.Write all letters in Caps

While you composing a New Message, tap the Shift Key two times to Turn on Caps lock key.

2.Delete individual Messages

If you want to delete an individual message, open the message Thread Tap and Hold on the Text. A Black bubble will pop up if you want to select more than one text tap more and Select more texts.at the bottom left a Trashcan Icon is located Tap on it to Delete the Selected messages.

3.Enable or Disable Read Receipts

Read receipts let the Person you text know when you have read their message. Obviously this Feature has Pros and Cons.to Enable read Receipts Open Settings and tap on messages then find Send Read Receipts now Slide to Enable or Disable. From now on messages will show read time beneath your latest Message.


4.Send your Location 

Apple maps and Google maps has Little Feature that Allow you to Send your Current location map to your Contact.in Apple maps select the Arrow located in the bottom left and Tap the Share button located at the bottom right. Choose Message and it will send your current location map as an image to your Contact.

If you are using google maps, first you have to pin your location, to Do that Tap and Hold anywhere to create a Pin, Select the Pin and Tap Share on the Right. Now Choose the message and Send it to your contact.

5.Send messages from your Macintosh Computer

You can send messages with Mac OSX mountain Lion (Version 10.8) and Later Versions. At present this Feature lets you to Text iPhone Users only however soon with mac OSX 10.10 Version you will be able to Send Texts to Android users too.

You need connect iMessage with your Apple ID, Apple has an Easy Tutorial for Setting Up iMessage with your Apple ID. You must Sign in with your Apple ID on both your iPhone and Computer.

6.Get Emoji for your iPhone

Open iPhone Settings and Choose General. Scroll Down and Find Keyboard then Tap on Keyboards and Choose New Keyboard and Select Emoji.

Now when you are sending a Message or Email, you will see a little Word icon on the bottom left tap on it to Access emoji icons.

7.Force an iMessage to send as an SMS

If an iMessage failed to deliver a red exclamation icon will appear, Tap that icon and Choose Send as a Text Message.

8.IMessage Keyboard Shortcuts

Keyboard Shortcuts make it Easy to Send Common Phrases like “good morning” or “I am on my Way”.

You can configure the Shortcuts in the Settings App. Open Settings App and tap on Keyboard, Scroll down to the bottom then Select Add New Short cut and Create your own Shortcut. Now you can implement your Shortcut in your messages for Example every time you Type “Hru” it will Automatically Change to “How are you”.
