Last Week Google Published a Developer tool called ARC welder.it help developer to Run Android Apps in Google Chrome Browser and Chrome Operating System. If you are a Developer you can try your own apps in your Chrome browser.

Let’s make one think clear Arc welder is not an Android Emulator, its doesn’t work like one. Arc welder is a developer tool created to help Developers to test their Android Apps in chrome browser and Chrome OS.

However anyone can use Arc welder it is a Free App available for everyone in the Chrome webstore. As I mentioned earlier it is not an Android Emulator so you can’t install multiple Apps and Run. In my Experience some Android Apps is not working well with Arc welder. In Order to Run Android Apps in ARC Welder you must have the Apps Apk file.

How ARC Welder Works

What ARC welder does is fairly simple, it Allow you to run an Android App within Chrome Browser and Chrome OS. It simply captures instructions to and from an Android Mobile or Tablet, and Send them via your Computer.

SO Apps that Depends on your camera, or location won’t work. Unfortunately ARC Welder doesn’t support some Apps and Games that need Internet Connection to run for Example Clash of Clan and KIK messenger is not running in my PC.

How to Run Android Apps in Google Chrome Using ARC Welder

For Testing Purpose I used Temple Run 2, Clash of Clans and Box Jump and I Tested only on Chrome Browser.

First you need to download the Apk files of the App that you want to run. Google Play Doesn’t want users to Download Apk files of An App so you can’t download APK files from Google Play.

However there are Few Websites like AndroidAPKsfree.com, downloader-apk.com Provide you APK files. Follow These Instruction to Download an Apk File.

As mentioned before ARC Welder Allow you to run one App at a Time. As you DO on your Android Smartphone. you can’t Run Multiple Android Apps simultaneously.

Download ARC Welder From Chrome Webstore.

Open ARC Welder from Chrome Apps, At First ARC Welder will ask you to choose a Folder to Store App Information. Create a Folder called ARC Welder on my Documents and Choose the Folder as Default folder for ARC Welder.

Now Click on Add your APK, Browse and Choose your Apk File and a Screen will Open in Few seconds ARC welder will show Launch Settings for the App.

In Settings you can Choose Phone mode or Tablet mode and App Orientation. As your Computer Display Oriented in Landscape mode you should use Landscape and Tablet mode.

After Customized the Settings Click the Launch Button. When you Press the launch Button the App Will Run in a New Window. If you want to add a New App Click the Go Back Button in the main Window and Add a New Apk File.

Don’t think ARC Welder as an Android Emulator for Running Android APPS on your Computer. Because it’s simply not. It’s Still in Development so we can’t depend on it right Now.

How to Download your Entire Google Search History

Google lets you download your entire Search History, Already google allowed their users to view their Search history. But now everyone can download their Entire Google Search history with a few clicks.

You can download your every search query that you made while you were signed in to Google. Your search history will only appear for the time that you have enabled the Google Web history Settings.

To download your google Search history go to Google History page. Sign in with your google Account password.

At the top right corner, you will see a gear icon, click the gear icon and select download from the drop down menu.

Now a warning message will Appear read the Message carefully and Click “Create Archive”.

Then google will prepare your Search history Archive for Download. When your Archive is ready for download google will send you the Download link to your Gmail.

Your google Search will be saved as a Zip Archive in google Drive. The Archive will be located in Takeout Folder.

Google introduced the takeout feature in 2011, it lets you download multiple google products Archive. You can download the Archive of your Gmail, Google Photos, Calendar, YouTube, Google+, hangouts and more.

Before downloading your Search history, Do you really need a copy of your Google Search history archive on your Computer? What uses might you ever have for that data? Your Archive may contain Sensitive information so do not use public computers to download your Archive. And make sure you always have control over your Archive.

Protect Your Google Account with Two Step Verification, Don’t rely on Weak passwords.

Downloading your Search history only gives you a copy of your archive held by Google and it doesn’t delete your search history from Google’s Archive.

if you want to Delete your Search history go to the Web & App Activity page, Select the Search Query’s that you want to Delete and click remove items at the Top. If you want to Remove Everything click the gear icon and Select “Remove items” choose “the beginning of time” from the Drop Down menu and hit remove.

You can also pause your web Search activity if you pause your Search history Google Search won’t save your Search Queries into Google’s Archive.to Do that Open Google Account-history Settings page. And click on the blue icon, a message will Appear click Pause. From now on your Google History won’t be saved in google Archive. You can Turn on your Search history at any time you want.

How to Use iPhoto on Mac OS X Yosemite

Some OS X users who have Updated to the new Version of OS X thinks that the Photos App does not enough for their Needs, and they want to continue Using iPhoto on Mac. With some tweaks it is Possible.

However there might be some Problems in running iPhoto again in OS X Yosemite because The New OS X version have Photos App. Open Macs Application Folder in you computer and Launch iPhoto App to check if you want to take further action or not, if you are lucky you will have the App Open just fine and you don’t need to take any further steps. View Previous Versions

When working a File together as Team mistakes might happen, so if you want to see an Older Version of that file. You can do that, when you are in Dropbox Folder Right click on that File and Choose View Previous Version of a File.

This will Open Dropbox Website and Show you the file’s versions history for Past 30 days. If you want to change to one of those older version, you can do it in few Clicks.

Comment on This File

When you right click on a file in your Dropbox folder click Comment on this File and Lets start a discussion around it. Without Starting an Email thread or chat you can simply gather feedback on a file.

Click the Gear icon (Located at top right) and go to Settings.

The Settings Windows will Pop Up, Find Offline and Check the Box written off as “Sync Google Docs, Sheets, Slides & Drawings files to this computer so that you can edit offline”

Click “Done” to Finish.

From now on you can Use Google Docs Even when you don’t have Internet Connection.

Insert Links Automatically

The name Google is Known for its Powerful Search Engine. Google Docs use google Search to its Advantage. Google Combined google Search into Google Docs, users can insert links without Opening new tab or Searching for the Specific Web Site.

To use this Feature highlight a Text then Right Click and choose “Link” or you can Press Ctrl + K on Keyboard. A dialog box will show up from there you can enter the hypertext and Search for the web Address. You can choose a matched page to automatically create a link.

Team Collaboration in Real Time

Unlike Microsoft Office, Google Docs let you and Your Team Work on a same Project at the Same Time. Everyone who has a Permission to Access the documents can View and Edit. Users can identify each individual Editors by their cursor Color.
To give Access to a Document, while the document is Open click the Share Button located at the top right corner.

A dialog box will show Up, Enter your Team members’ Email Address and click Send. You can also change the Type of Access your Team members will get. You can allow them only to leave Comments without changing the contents. Or allow them only to View contents. The changes made by team members will update in real Time so the most recent copy of the document will always be available to the Team.

Publish Documents 

In Google Docs Anyone can Share their Documents with the world, to do that First Open the Document, Then Go to File and Click “Publish to the Web”.A dialog box will Show Up Click the “Publish” button to confirm. After that a Web Link and Embed Code will be available to you, which you can Send to anyone you want.

This might look similar to the Google Docs collaboration feature, however there is a small difference. If you publish your Document Online, Everyone with the Link can see the Document as a Normal Web page.

Navigate Typographical errors Using Keyboard Shortcuts

Microsoft How-Old.net Guesses How Old You Look

Two Weeks Ago Microsoft Launched a Website called How-Old.net. On How-Old.net users upload their Photos and the site Guess their Age based on the Photo. The results might not accurate at all times and sometimes accurate.

Microsoft used their Face API (which is used to detect faces in Photos) to create the Site How-Old.net. i uploaded two Photos of myself that was taken 1 year Ago.in the first photo the Website Guessed I was 26 (not even Close).in the Second Photo it Predicted all the way to 29. Both guesses are not Accurate at All but it is a good way to get some laugh.

I tried some celebrities Photos – though it is always hard to guess how old they are. Most Photos got accurate results. I think Photos with Good Lighting get Accurate Results.

Microsoft made this site as demo for its Azure Services and the company Developers used its Face detection Algorithm from their Project Oxford to create this site. How-Old.net was developed in One day by couple of Microsoft’s Developers.

How-Old.net says We don't keep the Uploaded photos however the terms of service are little different. The terms of service page had a note under “Materials Posted On this Website” which is confusing.

What that Terms of Service Page States is by Uploading or Posting your Contents, you are giving Microsoft and its Partners rights to use your content. This includes distributing, copying, etc. simply by Uploading your Photos you grant Microsoft Permission to use your Pictures.

The website states that the Pictures uploaded in How-old.net is not stored anywhere. However they still has rights to use them.

So if you are going to try How-Old.net it is good to Avoid your Personal Photos .it is best to Use some of your random selfies to let the site Predict your Age. For More fun use some fictional characters Images.

1.You can set your iPhone to read your texts Aloud. You can Set this up in Settings menu, go to Settings and Choose General, Tap on Accessibility and turn on Speak Selection. If you did this correctly the Speak Option will be Available whenever you highlight a Text.

2.To Access all of your Email drafts, while you are in the inbox Hold down the compose icon then it will show you a list of your Previous Drafts.

3.You can Create Keyboard Shortcuts for Texting. Go to iPhone Settings > General > keyboard > shortcuts Add new Shortcut. Now type a word or Phrase that you often use and a shortcut for that Phrase. For Example if you want to create a Shortcut for the Phrase “Good Night” in add new shortcut menu type Good night in the Phrase and “gn” in Shortcut. So whenever you type “gn” in your Keyboard it will appear as Good Night.

4.You can create your own Vibration Patterns for Notifications. To do that Open Settings > Sounds > ringtones > Vibration > create new vibration. Now tap your fingers in a Pattern of your choice this will create a New Vibration pattern. From now on you can customize the vibration patterns for notification so you will know who is texting or calling just by the vibration

5.While typing a Web Address in your Browser hold down the Dot (.) button on your keyboard, and a menu will Show up with a list of web suffices like .com, .org, .us, .in. you can choose from there. This will save you the time of typing the full address.
