Last Week Google Published a Developer tool called ARC welder.it help developer to Run Android Apps in Google Chrome Browser and Chrome Operating System. If you are a Developer you can try your own apps in your Chrome browser.

Let’s make one think clear Arc welder is not an Android Emulator, its doesn’t work like one. Arc welder is a developer tool created to help Developers to test their Android Apps in chrome browser and Chrome OS.

However anyone can use Arc welder it is a Free App available for everyone in the Chrome webstore. As I mentioned earlier it is not an Android Emulator so you can’t install multiple Apps and Run. In my Experience some Android Apps is not working well with Arc welder. In Order to Run Android Apps in ARC Welder you must have the Apps Apk file.

How ARC Welder Works

What ARC welder does is fairly simple, it Allow you to run an Android App within Chrome Browser and Chrome OS. It simply captures instructions to and from an Android Mobile or Tablet, and Send them via your Computer.

SO Apps that Depends on your camera, or location won’t work. Unfortunately ARC Welder doesn’t support some Apps and Games that need Internet Connection to run for Example Clash of Clan and KIK messenger is not running in my PC.

How to Run Android Apps in Google Chrome Using ARC Welder

For Testing Purpose I used Temple Run 2, Clash of Clans and Box Jump and I Tested only on Chrome Browser.

First you need to download the Apk files of the App that you want to run. Google Play Doesn’t want users to Download Apk files of An App so you can’t download APK files from Google Play.

However there are Few Websites like AndroidAPKsfree.com, downloader-apk.com Provide you APK files. Follow These Instruction to Download an Apk File.

As mentioned before ARC Welder Allow you to run one App at a Time. As you DO on your Android Smartphone. you can’t Run Multiple Android Apps simultaneously.

Download ARC Welder From Chrome Webstore.

Open ARC Welder from Chrome Apps, At First ARC Welder will ask you to choose a Folder to Store App Information. Create a Folder called ARC Welder on my Documents and Choose the Folder as Default folder for ARC Welder.

Now Click on Add your APK, Browse and Choose your Apk File and a Screen will Open in Few seconds ARC welder will show Launch Settings for the App.

In Settings you can Choose Phone mode or Tablet mode and App Orientation. As your Computer Display Oriented in Landscape mode you should use Landscape and Tablet mode.

After Customized the Settings Click the Launch Button. When you Press the launch Button the App Will Run in a New Window. If you want to add a New App Click the Go Back Button in the main Window and Add a New Apk File.

Don’t think ARC Welder as an Android Emulator for Running Android APPS on your Computer. Because it’s simply not. It’s Still in Development so we can’t depend on it right Now.

How to Download your Entire Google Search History

Google lets you download your entire Search History, Already google allowed their users to view their Search history. But now everyone can download their Entire Google Search history with a few clicks.

You can download your every search query that you made while you were signed in to Google. Your search history will only appear for the time that you have enabled the Google Web history Settings.

To download your google Search history go to Google History page. Sign in with your google Account password.

At the top right corner, you will see a gear icon, click the gear icon and select download from the drop down menu.

Now a warning message will Appear read the Message carefully and Click “Create Archive”.

Then google will prepare your Search history Archive for Download. When your Archive is ready for download google will send you the Download link to your Gmail.

Your google Search will be saved as a Zip Archive in google Drive. The Archive will be located in Takeout Folder.

Stop Chrome Running in Background

By Default Chrome will continue to run in the Background Even After closed it.in windows computers you can see a little icon of Google Chrome in the system tray. Close All Google Chrome windows, click the try icon in the task bar. You will see chrome still running in the background.

Remove Chrome Extensions

Chrome Extensions make google Chrome more Powerful. However, they also slow down your Browser by taking more RAM memory, And Drain your Computers resources.in chrome Task Manager you can see the amount memory each Extension using to run. To Open Chrome Task manager Open Chrome menu, go to more tools and Select Task Manager. You can see the details of extension beginning with the word Extensions.

As you can see chrome task manager will show the amount of memory each extensions use. For example one of my Extension Stay Focused is using 45 mb of RAM. I can uninstall this Extension if I really don’t need it.

The Task manager does not show every extension in this list. Some extension does not run as their own Process. These Extensions include Scripts that run when a certain Web Page loaded in chrome. This kind of Extension run Additional Scripts on every Web Page you open so it will take more CPU and drain your Device battery Life.

To Uninstall an Extension Open the Google chrome Menu, Select Settings in Settings page Choose Extension located above Settings. Or copy and Paste “ chrome://extensions/ ” in your Chrome Address bar. Click the trash can button to uninstall any Extension that Consumes more Memory to Run.

Disable Background Pages

If you Noticed your chrome task manager, you might saw something Called background Page. It is different from Apps and Extension. You can disable the Background page in Task Manager. If any Website cause to run a page in Background you have to disable it in the Website.

For Example if you Enabled Google Drive offline Access. Google Drive Will always run in background even you don’t left any Drive Pages Open. That’s because Google Drive Background Process is responsible for Syncing All of your offline cache with Drive.

If you don’t use Google Drive Offline Access you can disable it by visiting google Drive Website .

Make sure you Enabled Click to Play Plug-ins in chrome.it will Stop Web Players like Adobe Flash and other Plug-ins from Starting and running in the background Automatically. If you do it Flash contents you specifically allow will Only Run other Unwanted Flash Advertisements won’t run unless you give Permission to Run. This same goes for other Plug-ins like java, Silverlight, unity Web Player and more.

Dont Use Multiple Tabs 

You may have noticed in task manager that Opened tabs Also Consume memory according to the contents of the Page. If you want to Save RAM memory, don’t run multiple tabs at once.

If you find any Web Page interesting and you are not Reading it at the moment Book mark it or Save it to Pocket or Evernote so you can Read it at any time you want.

Switch to a Different Browser

If chrome is not working well for you, you can switch to Another Browser. Particularly if you don’t need chrome’s Powerful Extensions and Features. You can use Safari browser On Macs Safari browsers are much more Battery Efficient. On Windows Mozilla Firefox uses less memory. So it will be Work good if you are running a computer with low amount of RAM.

A new Windows will Open from there you can Change to Satellite View, change the map Style, Access Google map Settings, if you use more than one Account you can Switch to Different Account, and a list of Your Places.

3D Style map View

Now you can view maps in 3D, while viewing a 2D map, tap and hold with two fingers and Swipe Up. Or Tap the 3D view icon at the bottom of right side.

And the entire map will tilt and show Some Depths to your map. The 3D view will look good in urban areas.

Type or Say Google map Commands  

In the Search box tap on the microphone icon and say “directions to Venice beach” Doing this will instantly Show Direction to the Venice beach.

You can Also Say “find the nearest Restaurant” or “nearest ATM”, “where is wall Street” or what is the best cafe in the neighborhood. If you feel awkward saying the comments in public you can simply Type those commands in Search Box.

View Google Maps in Full Screen

You can Clear the Search box and all the overlay distractions and gaze your map in full screen.to view a map in full screen, just tap once on the Screen to clear the details pane and tap one more time to hide the Search box and other buttons.

Note: Google maps Full Screen view is available only on iOS version of the GMaps.

To get back the Search box and other buttons, Tap the Screen and everything will slide back into place. 

Google maps Offline View 

You can Save a map of Los Angeles or San Francisco on your Android or iPhone and view it offline at any time. Saving a map for Offline use is Easy, just a few taps. You can save a detailed map of Whole City or a small neighborhood.

The offline Feature is very useful, it have a detailed Street view. However you can’t Search the Saved map or get Directions.it will be come in handy when you are travelling and don’t have an international cellular Plan or internet.

Many google map users are familiar With Offline maps but the Process of Saving a Map to Offline View has changed.

Search for a place or City then tap the three dot menu icon located at the left side of search box. Choose “Your Places ” a new window will Open, under offline maps Tap on “Save map for Offline use” Google maps will bring you back to the maps and prompt you “Save this map?” tap “Save”, give a name for your offline map and hit save in few Seconds your place will saved to offline maps.

To view your Offline maps, tap the three line menu icon, tap “your Places” and the saved maps will be there under offline maps section.

How to Add Google Drive to Windows Send To menu

Every Windows users use Windows Send to menu Feature, using Windows Send to menu you can send files to your Google Drive Folder from anywhere on your PC.

Windows Send to Menu will Show the contents of a Special folder that located inside AppData. You can add your own shortcuts.
